Bill Hughes, Swindon North Parliamentary Candidate

Bill Hughes Bill Hughes joined the Green (Ecology) Party in 1983. He has stood regularly for Swindon Council elections and stood for the European Elections in 1989 (22% of the vote) and in the General Election in Swindon in 1992 and 2005. He worked in a variety of employment including forestry, civil service and as a careers adviser. He is now retired but spends quite a lot of time in France renovating old property. Over the years he has been involved in many campaigns to protect the local environment and with Friends of the Earth, CND and the Stop the War Coalition. He is happily married with two grown up sons.

Jenni Miles, Swindon South Parliamentary Candidate

Jenni Miles Jenni Miles in a happily married mother of four from Old Walcot. A former Co-Chair of the Young Greens, the youth wing of the Green Party of England and Wales, Jenni now Chairs Swindon Green Party. She is a governor of Lethbridge Primary School and was a founding member of Swindon Climate Action Network.
